Privacy Policy
Effective August 4, 2026
Overview
FrameLoom is a macOS tool for creating App Store screenshots. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the app. FrameLoom does not require an account, show advertising, sell personal information, or track you across apps or websites.
Your projects and images
Images you import, text you add, project documents, and screenshots you export are processed on your Mac and saved only where you choose. The developer does not receive or upload this content.
Apple system features
FrameLoom uses Apple system frameworks for features such as subject isolation, text recognition, and translation. These features run through macOS services and may require Apple to download language or system resources. Your use of Apple services is also governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Subscriptions and purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. FrameLoom uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and determine whether premium access is active. For this purpose, RevenueCat may receive:
- An anonymous app user identifier
- Product, purchase, receipt, renewal, and subscription status information
- Basic app, device, operating system, locale, and diagnostic information needed to operate the purchase service
FrameLoom does not send your imported images, project files, design text, or exported screenshots to RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes subscription data under its own privacy policy.
Data retention and control
You control local FrameLoom documents and exported files and can delete them using Finder. Removing the app does not remove transaction records held by Apple or subscription records processed by RevenueCat. Those providers retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.
Children
FrameLoom is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when FrameLoom's features or service providers change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
